Error when writing waypoints (Timeout on read - setWPTotal)

My APM connects fine to my PC and the telemetry works fine, but when I try to write waypoints I get an error message saying “Timeout on read - setWPTotal”. I have tried connecting over radio and with a USB cable, but the same thing happens. Please help. Open the link for a picture of the full error message.

What FW versions are you using?
What Mission Planner version??
What board?

I am using an APM 2.8 running Arducopter 3.2.1 and I am using Mission Planner 1.3.62.

Would be simple to buy a new board for 30 US$ and start using Arducopter 3.6.7

Ok, but in case anyone else has this problem, APM Planner 2 seems to work fine.
