Enabling logging on arducopter

I have a dakefpv h743 (mostly a fake) bought from aliexpress which I unfortunately couldn’t return.

When trying to enable logging, I see failures like Failed to create log directory /APM/LOGS : I/O err

I have LOG_BACKEND_TYPE set to 1 & can see the board has a winbond 25q128jvsq

Could you please help me with suggestions on checking if the external flash is detected & how I can enable logging?

However, with this I get a config error:

Config Error: Unknown logger backend

On FC’s with flash memory that emulate an Sd card it has to be formatted. I don’t know if that’s true for that board. In those cases set the backend type to 4 and in Mission Planners Action Menu use the pulldown next to the Do Action button and set it for Format Sd Card and give it a try.

As soon as I set backend type to 4, I get the config error I mentioned above.

The actions drop does not show a Format SD card option.

Update Mission Planner to latest Beta and it will.

I still get similar errors, with the formatting failed.
