EK3_FLOW_DELAY value for MTF-02

I was wondering the best value to be used for the FLOW_DELAY for MicoAir’s products.

I expect it will work fine with the default value (80ms?) but if you’re keen to measure it more precisely then way to do it is to set LOG_DISARMED = 1, then roll the vehicle left and right somewhat smoothly trying to keep the optical flow sensor so that it doesn’t move horizontally or vertically too much (it doesn’t need to be perfect) and then download the logs and look for the time difference between the IMU message gyro values and one of FLOW messages’s values (sorry, I’m unsure exactly which). I think you should see overlapping peaks and troughs (similar to sin waves) which will be of different heights but hopefully moving in the same direction. The time difference between the peaks is the sensor lag.

Sorry this is all a bit vague but if you produce an onboard log I could probably figure out the lag. txs!

Not at all. Perfectly understood. In fact I forgot that method could have been used to estimate this.
