DroneCAN esc confusion

I am currently building a quadcopter using the Hobbywing 6X SE ESC/motor combo on an X900 frame. I am using DroneCAN for the setup, with all four ESCs connected to a hub that leads to CAN1. Additionally, I have a Here4 connected to CAN2.

Given that the wire runs are relatively short, do I need to have a termination point on one of the ESCs? I am finding conflicting information online, and I don’t see a clear way to configure termination on this specific hardware.

Could you please clarify if a termination resistor is necessary for this configuration and, if so, how to properly implement it?

CAN bus termination resistors are required for “longer” bus lengths.
If this is just a couple of centimeters you do not need it.
