Drone Yaws to the Left / Yaw Drift After Applying MagFit Parameters

Hi everyone,

I am encountering an issue where the drone’s yaw consistently drifts to one side (yawing to the left) after applying the parameters generated by the MagFit tool.

Issue Summary:

• Stock / Original Parameters: The drone holds its yaw heading without any issues • Post-MagFit Parameters: After running MagFit (which I have attempted using multiple approaches and variations), the drone starts steadily drifting/yawing towards a lower vaw angle.

Had no problems doing magfit tool calibrations with my othere drones.

Yes, I’ve tried it multiple times. If you have any recommendations on what to read or watch, that would be great!

I flew in alt_hold only, and some flights also with loiter for lighter or harsher flights. At lower and higher heights, nothing helped.

Software notwithstanding, this can be a cause of a warped prop or motor twist. I would also check the FC for level, at times you can slightly rotate the craft to opposite of the drift then level as well. In Cabinet making we use what called " winding sticks" the sticks allows you to sight the arms.

“Winding sticks are a pair of matching parallel straightedges used in woodworking to detect and exaggerate twist or “wind” in a board. When placed on opposite ends of a piece of lumber, sighting across their top edges makes any angular deviation or unevenness immediately visible to the eye”
