Hello! Recently my drone shutdown mid air without any warnings or external disturbance from the environment. I suspect short circuit or sudden battery discharge. I have attached the log files drive link. Debugging its shutdown midflight would be really helpful. Click Here
Can you detail the time in that log when you think there was a shut-down?
When the motors are running, they are at or near minimum and altitude doesnt really register so it’s a wonder the copter thought it was flying.
I can see where you arm it with throttle and rudder, then disarm it, and I dont see any shutdown in between those.
The moment when the log ended, around 11:32:56 the drone just shutdown midflight.
In the log I see there is a section where motors arm and run, then the copter disarms. Yaw stick and low throttle is used to arm it, and at the end of the motor-running section the throttle is at minimum and the yaw stick goes the other way to disarm.
If you had armed in Stabilise mode the copter would have disarmed by itself since throttle was at minimum and it seemed NOT to be flying.
The drone had been armed and flown in Position Hold mode and it was a self centering throttle stick transmitter. In the log, the last data set(the moment where the drone shutdown) show’s that the RCIN.C3 THROTTLE was at 1500.
That’s a different log
Sincere apologies, this is the correct log (Click Here).
All logging just stops as if battery power (or the power brick) is suddenly lost.
It is very sudden, there’s no sign of Vcc dropping so it could even be a fault within the flight controller. There are no errors or warnings.
Thankyou so much for debugging. This confirms that there is no error from the pilot, correct?
No user-induced errors I could see. There’s no relevant messages or anything, all logging just stops mid-flight.
