Do you need to be armed to use aux ports?

So I’ve been working with hooking up my gimbal and retracts and had issues getting them to work.

Then it dawned on me that I might need to be armed for those pins to output.

My gimbal tilt works when disarmed, but no other pins seem to.

No, the pins should work when disarmed. Check your output pin settings.

If they are not working also check your radio has more than 8 channels enabled.

This caught me out and I had a similar issue. My Taranis was set to only ch1-8 enabled.
