Do Quiktune and Magfit Helper LUA Scripts work on 4.7.1?

Hello,

I’m about to attempt an upgrade from 4.6.3 to 4.7.1 I am working through the param name and value changes on Parameter Name Changes — Copter documentation

It looks like the Quiktune Lua script hasnt been updated in about a year on github. From reading the docs as well at QuikTune — Copter documentation , it doesnt look like any params it touches have been renamed. But I want to ask before blindly trying it: Does this work on 4.7 as is? Anything I should worry about before using this?

Same question as well for the magfit helper: Scripted MagFit flightpath generation
In its docs it references using WPNAV_SPEED for example, which has changed to WP_SPD in 4.7. Does this work on 4.7 as well?

Thanks!

Hi @Tim_Archer,

QuikTune should certainly work. I’ll leave it to @Yuri_Rage to answer regarding the magfit script.

Thanks @rmackay9 !

After I upgraded a copter with magfit helper on it, it threw some errors I saw in the mission planner console about the wpnav_speed param. So I removed the script and error went away for now.

Appreciate all you guys do!

If the param name is outdated, fixing it would be as simple as find/replace with the updated name. The script is just a text file. I am away from a place where I can test it properly and will not be able to put any time toward it for about a month. @rmackay9, happy if you were to fix it while I’m away.
