Deploy Landing Gear message will not break out of loop

I am using latest master with cube orange but this has been a persistent issue for months with cube black and multiple iterations of arducopter. I have looked through the code and can find no faults but the only way i can avoid recurring mavlink message is to comment out the line. Landing gear work perfectly in all modes but when an auto deploy command is issued the message goes into an unending loop until power down. Any help here would be much appreciated

@peterbarker has made a change that fixes this and we will roll this out with the next release candidate, thanks for the report!

Short test flight in less than perfect conditions and looks good. Single message on RTL. Thanks @peterbarker
