Custom motor mix and arduino code compile

Hello,

I have a TBS clone frame and would like to enter my own motor mix numbers.

I have tried that on 2.9.1b code, did some other changes in the code like define apm2 and stuff to get it to work, and still not sure its working ok.

What would I need to change exactly in the vanilla code for 3.0.1 to upload it directly from arduino sde ?
I already know the motor mix code is in libraries/AP_Motors/AP_MotorsQuad.cpp

By the way, anyone has these motor mix numbers already ?

I had a dead motor #3 output from my APM 2.5 and randy gave me a one line patch to make output #5 work in its place. Line added to the file you mentioned.
In addition he gave me complete steps to set up git hub, the Arduino setup, etc and I was able to recompile everything.
Now I’m flying and learning programming all over again!
