CubePilot Orange versus Orange+

I’ve started re-purposing old flight controllers into new projects.

I have a mix of Orange and Orange+ flight controllers.

I hate to waste money, but I’m wondering if it might be a good idea to retire my old Orange cubes and replace them with new Orange+ units.

As the Orange+ flight controllers have come down in price, this might not be too expensive if I only retire a few for the newer models.

I’d appreciate it if anyone has any thoughts on the matter. Thanks!

There’s nothing wrong with a Cube Orange. The Orange+ has some updated sensor chips due to end-of-life of old chips, otherwise functionally the same.
If you had a large mission-critical vehicle, or something prone to vibrations (eg: onboard ICE/generator) I’d probably swap it to a Orange+ but otherwise there’s no special reasons to change.
