CubeOrange Plus + Bidirectional Dshot for Hexacopter

Following the discution started at DShot on IOMCU - it's here! - #147 by Yuri_Rage

@dkemxr, my banner is different of yours once I just have 9-12 as dshot:

and in the bdshot I set the channels 9-14

this is the current configuration and startup configuration(I’m applying the AMC so a lot of things is ongoing).

thanks for your help.

You have too many parameters configured. Set these:
BRD_IO_DSHOT,0 (won’t effect anything but you are not using the main outputs for Dshot so disable it)
SERVO_BLH_MASK,0
SERVO_BLH_OTYPE,0

The last 2 may be more bullshit from the Rosser guide.
Then confirm with messages that RCout 9-14 are Dshot.

Hi @dkemxr

the problem is with firmware 4.7.0 beta.

I downgraded to 4.6.2 and all aux ports now are DSHOT.

So there is something missing/wrong/bug in 4.7.

Not on my CubeOrange+ with the same settings.
RCout

Post the parameters file again with the changes you made. And using V4.7.0-beta2

hi @dkemxr

I didn’t change anything, just upload the 4.6.2.

This is misconfigured as I posted. If you want to fool around with V4.6 go ahead. If you want to find out what the problem really is then update to V4.7 and make the changes I suggested and work thru it. If it’s configure properly and you still have trouble with getting all 6 outputs to work with Bdshot then we have to look further.

I don’t think there is any bug.

hi @dkemxr

There is something not really right. I just updated to 4.7 and then is showing the outputs as dshot.

With any change. just uploaded the firmware over the 4.6.2

It’s still misconfigured. I don’t know what point you are making now.
Good luck.

If I understand correctly this problem is now resolved?

Hi @iampete

yes, I tried to replicate the problem but I coudn’t. I erase the firmware, upload again and I couldn’t replicate.
