Cube Orange+ mid flight blackout

Hello,
Looking for users feedback regarding one specific behavior of the OrangeCube+: operating an agri hexa multi-copter, during flight, the FC just quit working, causing a sudden crash;logging stopped at the time of the event. Power supplies were checked, both working (Power1 and Power2), no other electrical problems were discovered. After the crash, the FC was powered again, working normally. The battery is formed by a 2P so there is redundancy there also. Has anyone experienced similar?

Log file here:

Open up the access on that log please.
Maybe draw a diagram of your battery and power module arrangement.

Hey, sorry. I opened up the acces to logs. Thanks!

Well power was definitely lost unexpectedly. There’s no associated error or warning around that time.
I believe the peripheral supply was over-current the entire time. That is the 5volts to all interfaces (CAN, Telem2, I2C…) except Telem1 (Telem1 has it’s own suuply).

You should draw out a diagram of exactly how all this is wired up. According to the Cube you have a PowerA brick, USB power and Servo power.
The Servo power does not provide any redundancy. USB would but maybe it’s powered from the same source that died.

I find the best way to provide redundancy is run two different power bricks from one good, reliable flight battery (or set of batteries).
It can be counter-productive to add another battery just for running a 2nd power brick or to USB, since this battery is contributing weight but no thrust.
