Corrupted SDcard and log files

Hi!

I have purchased a new SDcard (so it’s not used for years) and the LOGS folder gets corrupted, and there’s a lot of garbage. Like somebody shuts down a computer with the power switch instead a proper shutdown command.

Could you please guide me, where to start investigating?
How should I “turn off” the drone, to prevent filesystem corruption?

I have a Speedybee F405 V4 FC, with 4S batteries, Arducopter V4.6, SDcard is Sandisk, “High Endurance”, V30 U3, 32Gigabytes.

I suppose you know you have log disarmed enabled?

Hi Dave!

Yes, I know that. I have enabled it, do be able to debug “things” before lift-off.
But this makes sense, the logfile is always open for writing.

I’ll try disabling and do a test flight.

Today I had chance to do a test flight, the drone was airborn, but unfortunatelly all the logs are lost.

Thanks for pointing to this!
