Correct Firmware

Hello ArduPilot Devs,

I’d like to request support for a flight controller that is currently not listed as officially supported: the JHEMCU F405 Wing. This board uses the STM32F405 MCU and is intended for fixed-wing aircraft.

Board Details:

• MCU: STM32F405
• Target use: Fixed-wing plane
• Product page with diagram/schematic: JHEMCU F405 Wing INAV Flight Controller Built-in Barometer Gyroscope OSD | eBay
• Very similar layout to the MatekF405-Wing, including I/O ports and peripherals

I’d be happy to:

• Test any beta firmware
• Provide logs and feedback

Would it be possible for the dev team to consider adding support for this board? If there’s anything I can do to help with the port or testing process, please let me know!

Can it be flashed with firmware made for another board?

No. Unless its’s some clone of one. And as you say I don’t see firmware for that board either.

If you are a customer, you should contact the seller for a firmware. If you are the developer of the board, consider writing your own hwdef.dat and create a PR in AP’s repository.
