Copter 4.0.6-rc2 available for beta testing

Copter-4.0.6-rc2 has been released and is available for download from the ground stations using their “Beta Firmwares” links.

This is a minor update however it includes a very important feature (backup of storage) that may help troubleshoot the reason for unexpected parameter resets that have been occurring. Please report any unexpected parameter resets that occur while using this beta. The full list of changes is below and in the ReleaseNotes .

  1. Add support for keeping a backup of storage for last 100 boots
  2. Bug fixes:
    a) Fix support for BLHeli_S passthru

We plan to keep the beta testing fairly short, maybe look to release 4.0.6 stable next weekend. Any testing you can do is greatly appreciated!

Great… i was wondering why the motors where not pinging, now working.

Hell yeah! Been waiting for this forever :slight_smile:
Got loads of BLHeli_S ESC’s and passthrough has always been an issue using them on ArduPilot.
