So, wanting to get my feet wet with companion computers, how do I connect an Edison to my Pixhawks? I am not ready to get the new Pixhawk 2s just yet, so what are the bare minimum connections needed to connect an Edison to a Pixhawk 1?
Thanks

What sort of carrier do you have for your Edison?
No Edison as of yet.
i was going to use this one from Sparkfun https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13025 comes with carrier and an Edison.

I had trouble flashing my Edisons when mounted on that board. Could have
just been me.
Any reason not to start with a Pi of some description? At least then you
get h264 video without needing a camera to do the encoding…
I have a Pi, or could even get anther one, as they are inexpensive, but was trying to keep even with the Pixhawk 2 and Edison development .
thanks for the info on that board, I’ll have to take that into account when/if I buy one.
