Circling a moving base station

Hi everyone
I’m new to ArduPilot so this might seem like a novice question, spoiler alert; it is.
I was hoping if anyone could tell me wether I could launch a long duration plane drone to follow my boat and take pictures. I guess circling or loitering over the sailing boats GPS position and use a gimbled camera to keep in images centered on the GPS Position of the Computer on the boat. ?

Do you all think that’s doable ??

Using DO_SET_HOME command in a mission with a loop should make it .
