Check for GCS Failsafe Events in VTOL .bin Log File

Hi everyone,

I found this older post which asks the same question about detecting a “No GCS Heartbeat” event in the logs, but unfortunately, it doesn’t have any answers.

Has anyone here had experience analyzing GCS Failsafe events in .bin log files for VTOL or other aircraft? I’d really appreciate any guidance on which log messages or indicators to look for.

Look at the log file and plot ERR.Subsys. Look for a value of 8.

You could also look in the messages.
