CCW motors running faster than CW

I know that motors that aren’t level or twisted arms can cause one pair of motors to spin faster to counteract yaw. That said the frame and motor mounts on this aircraft seem fine. Is there anything else that might cause this? The CCW motors are spinning about 15% faster than CW according to ESC telemetry RPM. Any suggestions welcome.

Usually this is the only explanation. Even a couple degrees can cause a difference… Or a slight difference in CW and CCW airscrews…

What props are you using?
Most people take props for granted, especially the CW v CCW being identical.
If they are from a cheap manufacturer the it is possible there is a difference between them.

The best check involves a thrust measurement on the bench.

I’m using APC and MA props. Not particularly cheap.

Swap the props and try again to rule that out.

I swapped on a new set of APC and get the same result.

Same problem here sir , some time I formate pixhawk and without autotune i just try to flying on stabilize mode it’s crazy tomorrow 13 march i got new carbon fiber props and formate my pixhawk and going to auto tune but I seen this

Sorry for short video and video frame not accurate so I think problem was not shown in this video

The video doesn’t play.

Ok sir ?

I can’t really see what’s going on there. Maybe posting a log is best.

Hmm, sir when I punch it my copter then he’s goes up but little but yawing and after throttle stik is down he’s goes down but 2 motors are very slowly like I can see props rotation is very very slow
(ESC = one shot 125) and 2 are same and once again yawing little bit

I think you should calibrate the esc.
Look at Randy’s calibration video

I’m already done with all calibration , and when I start flying first I’m recalibrate compass everytime.

And also my big copter 2 motor very hot and other 2 are normal , how it’s possible ?

Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m not talking about the compass. I’m talking about the speed controllers

BTW. A wonderful machine you build!

How it’s possible can you say something about when ESC is not calibrated and flying very good , i don’t understand about this useful information.
Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:
Btw it’s my own low cost frame
