Can't reorder motors

I am running the latest Ardupilot on a SpeedyBee f405V4 + 60A 4-in-1 ESC running BlueJay and D-Shot 300. Everything worked when I was running Betaflight, but when I switched over to Ardupilot, the motor numbering was wrong. I figured that I would go to CONFIGURATION and simply change the SERVOx numbers to re-order them. That doesn’t work! Regardless of which motor number I use (33-36), when I use the motor test to spin motor 1. Motor 1 does not run. If Servo1 is set to “33” (the normal setting) motor 2 runs. If I set Servo1 to “34” NOTHING spins when I try to test Motor 1. Has anyone else encountered this? I really don’t want to re-solder all my motor leads to switch them around. The leads are cut so short that I would have to add wire to each one, a very messy proposition.

Motor 1 is 33 - so whatever SERVO# you have set to 33 will spin when you test Motor 1.

Please not the Motor Letters DO NOT Equal the Motor Numbers.

Connect one (1) motor, run Motor Test and re-order the output until it’s correct in Motor Test. Then connect the next one. And so on.

No one has to do this.
