Hi,
I’ve finished the construction of my Heewing Ranger T1 which includes
- Matek f405 wing v2
- Matek m10q-5883
- RP3-v2
- ASPD-4525
I have all the components working with the exception of being able to map the motors/servos.
The Heewing Ranger comes with a power distribution board which I removed and soldered the ESC (in wings) directly to the ESC power on the board. The way it’s setup is the the servo on each wing share a common 3pin connector so I removed this so that each servo has it’s own connector. The same is true for the motor for which I’ve done the same, the only difference being that I removed the power connector which isn’t required.
My transmitter is setup with the following channels:
- Ail
- Ele
- Thr
- Rud
I’ve been using QGroundControl to configure everything. I’ve calibrated the radio and I can see each of the channels being picked up an mapped well.
The problem is in the mapping, I’m not sure how to map each function to the appropriate serial connector, and no matter what I try I can’t get it correct. I’ve plugged in the 2 motor connectors to S1/S2, the Ailerons to S3/S4, and the Elevator to S5, then mapped the function I’d expect.
Can anyone give guidance on how this is supposed to work?
Thanks
