Can't make HW Ver go BLANK

Kakute F7, 4.6.2.

I’m trying to set up the battery monitor (like I have successfully done a dozen times before with this same FC) - I’m using the Battery Monitoring numbers from here:

But the voltage is reading about 2 volts too low.

I wonder if it has something to do with the “HW Ver” field - which keeps self populating - I try to make it BLANK, but blank won’t take.

And meanwhile, I am getting “Battery 1 unhealthy” - even though it’s reporting plenty of voltage.

Anyway…

I can get the correct voltage to show, but only if I use a different VOLTAGE DIVIDER than the one spelled out on the Ardupilot page.

So should I use the “wrong” divider?

And how do I get rid of the “Battery 1 unhealthy” message? (Been using Arducopter for 10 years and never saw that message before).

Thanks very much.

Use whatever results from entering the actual battery voltage measured with a voltmeter in the “measured battery voltage” field in the Battery Monitor Screen. That’s it.
I have one of those FC’s and the resulting divider is 10.96655 but yours will likely be a bit different.

The HW Ver field is populated by the combination of Battery Monitor parameter settings. So, if you use these correct ones don’t mess with it.:

Thanks Dave - got it.
