Might have changed a couple other things, can’t remember (my “modified” checkbox in MP just shows a blank page instead of all the settings I’ve changed?).
Newer firmware versions (such as BlHeli32 starting at version 32.10, and Bluejay starting at version 0.19) report some of the information above also via bi-directional DShot, using a protocol extension known as Extended DShot Telemetry.
Yes my FC supports bdshot - there is a firmware that specifically contains bdshot - that webpage is tiltled “F7 and F7 aio” - they pictured the aio, but the title is for both FC’s.
Post a photo? Of what?
The ESC may be “old” - what does that have to do with it? Doesn’t the BLHeli32 firmware determine whether an ESC will work for bdshot?
I have SERVO_DSHOT_ESC set to 3 (for extended telemetry) - I’ve also tried setting it to “1” - but no luck.
You are saying that I need v32.7 or higher to activate bdshot, but I had read somewhere that 32.6 was good enough (the quote was “32.7 is an improvement for esc telemetry”, implying not needed). And of course I have no way to update above 32.6 now that BLHeli32 firmware no longer exists.
So if I really need v32.7 or higher then might as well quit here.
