Are you really using 4.3 still? Not sure it will address your issue, but 4.6.3 is current and very stable…
The screenshot shows v4.6.3 and also failsafed for what appears to be multiple reasons.
The configuration is incomplete and/or incorrect, and you can’t arm because of that. Lacking GPS (or another valid position source) is one cause.

Thx Yuri, I found the problem. I have a second PX4 that has ArduSub by Blue Robotics on it and that worked fine in MP - I used the second PX4 to checked that my issue wasn’t MP.
Thanks to your comments I had a thought about the GPS unit - supplied with the PX4. Short story, I have a faulty unit - the switch on the side is stuck depressed. I replaced it with another one I had, went through the whole procedure again and i successfully completed the calibration.
