I have not been able to resolve this issue. I have tried several different GPS units (all of the same type, however). I’m using a Matek 743 WING board and a uBlox M10Q GPS. The GPS finds 18+ satellites and has a HDOP value of 1.1.
I can’t fly this plane because it won’t arm. I am reluctant to turn arming checks off.
Set LOG_DISARMED,1. Put the plane outside for a while, let the GPS do it’s thing and try to arm it. The log file will have the messages we need to help. Most likely the EKF hasn’t stabilized yet. It sometimes takes a while even once the GPS has a satisfactory HDOP.
