Hello,
I have a CADDX GM3 gimbal which i connected to a pixhawk board. I manage to control the gimbal however when i put the gimbal with the camera down it suddendly stop moving like shown in the video at the link https://drive.google.com/file/d/14OpCsIvErDulGLnF9lYizYZwDzQ0LSS5/view?usp=drive_link.
Probably there is a parameter to set the configuration of camera down. Anyone knows what is it?
GM2 on my desk behaves the same way. Seems there is some kind of limitation of nagles where gimbal is actually “gimballing”. Outside of that range it goes to neutral position, and that behavior is not related to ardupilot, as it does that even when You jsut assign static PWMs to servo inputs.
Problem solved: just turn on the gimbal when is already upside down and it will function normally.
Function normally - will it allow You to actually reach greater angles without going to neutral position? Damn.. I need to test that.
