Building a Quad-rotor and rover using one/two APM

Hey guys,

Is it possible to design a system where I can use an APM to control both a ROVER and a quad-rotor or perhaps link two APMs to create a transitional change from ground to air and vice versa?

I don’t see why not. All you need is 2 DC relays connected to a transmitter channel that activates either Rover APM or Copter APM. Also mechanical part of designing such a vehicle would be nightmare
