found a bug ? two ways to get it to me , pick whichever suits you ![]()
1. in app reporter ( easiest )
grabs the logs for me so theres no guessing.
- open Help > Report Bug , or click the bug icon in the sidebar
- describe what happened and what you expected
- pick what to include - app logs ( keep this on ) , and optionally a board dump ( needs a connected board , it triggers a reboot )
- review the data , youll see exactly whats collected before anything leaves your machine
- hit generate - it makes an encrypted .deckreport file
- attach the .deckreport to a reply here
whats inside the .deckreport : app logs ( paths sanitized ) , system info ( os , version , arch ) , and the board dump if you added it. its encrypted so only i can open it , and nothing uploads on its own.
2. github issue
prefer github ? open one here : Issues ยท rubenCodeforges/ardudeck ยท GitHub
these land straight on my project board and get logged right away , so nothing slips through.
either way , please add :
- your ardudeck version
- a screenshot or two if you can - visual bugs get fixed way faster when i can actually see them
cheers
