Brushed bipolar esc configuration persistence problem

Dear All,

I just finished to test a rover assembled using some components that I had at home.

I use a miniPix connected to a couple of 7A Dual Way Bidirectional ESC Speed Controller 2S-3S

The frame and motors come from a wave rover used in a previous project (https://www.waveshare.com/product/raspberry-pi/robots/mobile-robots/wave-rover.htm)

I uploaded on the FC ArduRover 4.5 and the model works perfectly as a steering rover.

The only problem that I noticed and the reason of this post is that, each time I restart or turn off the FC, it is not able to restablish the control with the ESCs. No warnings or messages of sorts.
To fix the problem I have to:

  1. change the ESC type to normal
  2. reboot the miniPix
  3. change the ESC type to BrushedBiPolar

Then I can arm and everything works again.
Please can you share any hint?
