Blheli passthrough esc configuration

Could anyone give me any pointers as to why I cannot configure my esc?

Is it because the fc isn’t allowing access to the esc?
I cannot connect to the esc as it will not allow me to on Esc configurator it says port is already in use but it is not.
I have set:

BLH_auto to 1
Blh_mask 3
Blh_otype 5
Servo_dshot_esc 4

I’m using the esc to power 2 thrusters, I can control the thrusters as differential throttle and able to power them but they do not have any throttle it is just the slowest power as if in idle and then off.
When steering they also have idle power no more.

I only have control of the motors when in dshot 300 no other.
When I do a motor test they won’t spin any faster 5-100%

What Flight Controller?
What ESC’s and what firmware do they use?
What outputs are being used from the Flight Controller?

Hi mate sorry I forgot to add

HGLRC 60a 4 in 1 I beleive it’s the Blheli s firmware

Matek h743 flight controller

Outputs are just 2 for the 2 thrusters and they are servo 1 as throttle left and 2 as throttle right as I’m using differential steering
