I read in an old post that when BIN files are converted to LOG files that the first lines will contain all the parameters for that flight.
I’ve tried doing this, but as you can see in the attached log file, this is not true any more.
I’ve learned how to read parameters with the plot.ardupilot.org tool, but it would be nice to know if there are better ways to extract the parameters and their settings.

Additionally If you want to extract a parameter file from a .bin log just hit the “Create KML+gpx” button.
Thank you - I hadn’t yet had the need to create a KML file. I’ll try it.
Actually it will create a kmz which can be interesting to view in Google Earth or any app that uses that format. You can create a kml or a 1st person kml also from the Download Dataflash button.
