It looks like QGC is blocking you changes? Is that right?
I know MissionPlanner pops up warnigns that you can ignore and set whatever you like anyway.
Also you might have an old copy of the spreadsheet, download this one:
The alternative is use MissionPlanner, connect your quad and press Alt A
The dialog offers choices for lipo or li-ion, and sets all the other parameters that you choose.
For 5 inch props you should definitely start with these settings:
ATC_ACCEL_Y_MAX,60000 (I doubled this value for you, better for smaller quads)
But if you’re using 4S or 6S at different times these will be an issue (6S lipo settings shown here) :
You’ll either need to have a 6S.param file and 4S.param file (with just those parameters) to quickly load before flight, or stick with one battery size.
You might even have to run autotune with each different battery and average out some of the settings, like these:
ATC_RAT_x_P (RLL and PIT)
Also you can copy/paste the spreadsheet results into notepad++ and replace all tabs with , and save as a .param file and just load the param file to save making typing errors. Maybe this sort of method would get around a QGC limitation too,
