Bdshot setup help on pix.6c

Hello,

I am trying to setup bdshot for RPM on my pixhawk 6c (with the pix6c bdshot f.w.) on the Aux 9-12 with the tekko 32 ESC running AM32 2.19 .
In the motor test all motors work fine but i see no rpm data on the Status screen.
I tried a few things that i saw in this post Issues with BDshot and Dshot in general but still no joy on rpm data.
I attach a param file with the latest changes i have done, if someone can take a look.
Params_5_10_Bdshot.param (19.9 KB)

Thanks in advance

Is it in the log file?

Currently, this is limited only to Pixhawk6X/C autopilots.
For CubeOrange, AUX1 cannot be used for Bi-Directional DShot meaning only AUX2 to AUX6 can be used for Bi_directional DShot. I hope Pixhawk 6C does not has such issue.

For firmware versions prior to 4.5, autopilots with an IOMCU co-processor (e.g. Pixhawk, CubeOrange, etc.) the DShot ESCs should be connected to the AUX outputs and not the MAIN outputs of the IOMCU co-processor. In firmware versions 4.5 or later…

Parameters look okay to me. Maybe a silly question, but are you checking the relevant ESC RPMS (i.e. esc9_rpm, rather than esc1_rpm since the ESCs are on the 9-12 outputs)? I know this was a problem I had as I assumed that they would be posted to 1, 2, 3, 4.

Also yes as Dave suggested, it’s worth looking at a log file to see if the data exists there at all.

Checked all of them, all 0. I will take a look later in the logs.

Thanx

It should have inside the log as mentioned by @dkemxr if you have wired and setup correctly, example.

Hello, I have the exact same problem.
I’m trying to connect to Pixhawk 6c, Ardupilot 4.6.3 bdshot firmware, 6x ESC Sequre 2670 on AM32 2.20.

AM32 set in bdshot, the motor test works but no telemetry RPM or EDT (temp, current) at all…
