Description:
Purchase of hardware for a “Balancebot” for an updated reference design for ArduRoller Balance Bot — Rover documentation , which has not been updated in many years (references to Rover 3.5!).
The new design will use the off-the-shelf chassis from Yahboom: Self-balancing Robot Car Chassis Kit With 520 Motor Rubber Tire
It will also be used to assist with testing ArduPilot releases and user support, as not many devs (maybe just @rmackay9 ?) have a working setup.
Planned amount $275 (USD):
This consists of:
- Chassis: $69
- 3S battery: $44
- ESC: $105
- RC receiver: $22
I’ve also included $35 for shipping.
The flight controller, GPS and telemetry radios I already have.
Estimated time for completion:
1 month after receipt of hardware.
