Auto is slow, Circle is great

Mini Pix in a rc car. Rover 4.6.3. Acro mode is ok. Auto tracks well, but is slow. Circle is perfect! It pulls a nice circle speed. How do I get Auto to hustle? I want it using all allowable acceleration.

If it’s this board, read the warning. Generally not supported here.

Yeah, I saw the warning. I didn’t think that prevented us from discussing settings. So lets say I had a different board. I see the parameters you’ve posted, and those worked on my previous project but not this one. Maybe it’s a quirk of the board. I haven’t really found any examples of people building fast rovers. Y’all doing lawnmowers it seems.

There is no fundamental difference in tuning whether cruise speed is 1 mph or 60.

WP_SPEED is most likely the value you’re seeking, though there is no guarantee this is correct because that firmware is closed and in violation of the public license.

As always, follow the documentation (at your own risk with this board, of course).
