I have a big problem; When I do reset to default in config, it gives me a message that “after rebooting, you will be riquired reconnect to the autopilot”!!!. Also i encounter the message that “command was denided by the autopilot” in the motor test.
So i cannot arming or anything els.
Plz help me
That is normal, if you reset all parameters to their defaults, the FC will need to reboot. When the FC reboots you need to re-connect. All normal, expected and logical.
You need to be armable in order to perform the motor test.
Have you read the motor test documentation?
Thank you very much for your reply So why doesn’t autopilot allow me to test motors?
No, unfortunately, I don’t know where to read it
Use ArduPilot Methodic Configurator software. It semi-automates the configuration, and automatically opens the relevant documentation for the current step in a browser.
You no longer have the excuse that you can not find the documentation
Tank you so much
I did the configuration and completed all the software steps you mentioned. The software closed and I then opened Mission Planner and connected the fc to it. But when I tried to test the engines, I got the same message again before the configuration that:
Command was denied by the autopilot!!
Also The flight controller I use is Omnibus F4, and I changed its firmware from Beta Flight to ArdoPilot
Can this cause this problem?
hm, did you arm your copter successfully?
No, the same errors as before are still there
Did ArduPilot Methodic Configurator tell you to test the motors?
If not, then it is too soon, and something is still missing. Continue the procedure, and only test them when asked to do so.
right
My problem now is that I did all the ArduPilot Methodic Configurator steps correctly, it congratulated me and announced that the configuration is complete and closed according softwares last step . Now, shouldn’t I start the quadcopter again with the mission planner?
What exactly should I do now?
See, my problem is that I cannot arming at all. I don’t know what the problem is to solve it, that is, I don’t know which part to refer to ardupilot methodic configurator.
Pls help me. Im student
The “Class” shouldn’t be undefined. It’s not arming because you haven’t configured it properly.
https://ardupilot.org/copter/docs/frame-type-configuration.html
If you used the configurator properly this shouldn’t have happened.
Did you changed the parameters acording to your vehicle requirements on every step of the sequence?
Or did you just pressed upload a bunch of times completly disregarding the documentation?
Or even worse, did you press “skip parameter file” 53 times in a row?
It is not clear to me how you used the software.
