Ardusub Motor test not working

I’m trying to arm my sub and motor test and it’s just doesnt spin - none of them, and all connected to mainout!

Without any details all can only guess. Describe your setup, what ou have tested and show your log.bin file with LOG_DISARMED set to 1

So i connected a pretty big 4in1 drone esc to 4 motors and to the pixhawk 2.4.8 main out 1-4

the motors beep a lot when i connect a battery - trying to motor test with arming check disable and with disabling the “need” of safety switch, please let me know if you have any other question because I feel like I didnt brought too much Info.

the log.bin file is too large for some reason - what exactly do you need to know from there? i’m a noobie and opened that with notepad.

What ESC?
What motors?
How they are configurated?

Can you send me your email?

No, use a filesharing service like google drive.
I by myself are not an expert and the benefit of this community is that many people can see and work together on a problem together.

That’s reasonable - thanks for the relevant comment

Unique Download Link | WeTransfer let me know if there’s any problem with the link

Motors are SunnySky 4010 450kv, esc is something I dont recognize but probably works for 3-6s batteries with s1-4, 5.0 and GND, connected all to MAIN OUT

Your link is ok but as I sid I am not the expert.
Is the ESC a rover / ship / sub ESC or just like a ESC for copters.
If the motors are beeping did you tried to calibrate the ESC

I cant calibrate the esc, (on arducopter everything works fine with those components) and I assume this ESC is a quadcopter ESC - not sure if that can work with sub but idk the difference.

If its a good esc it might work with dshot, needs no calib

What is your firmware version?

Maybe putting throttle high on boot and then lowering might work?

Why not? You need to know that and the protocol it’s using for configuration. Do the motors need to work bi-directionally like most rovers?

I don’t need my motors to be biderectional and I’m pretty sure it uses Dshot600, please let me know if there’s any other question you have!

Do you think the ESC calibration causes the motor test not to work? On mission planner the buttons aren’t “pressable” and if I flash arducopter on this configuration I can just instantly motor test without any problem. Anyways I’ll try ESC calibration this method and huge thanks for the info!

If you have configured for Dshot calibration is not required.

It doesn’t work on any protocol (normal too)

I forgot to mention that when I plug in the battery with Ardusub firmware the motors “beeps” a lot (on arducopter it doesn’t happen)

Depends on the esc

Usually means lack of signal or some other thing like stuck motor

Maybe try with a testing source like servo tester to see if the escs work?

I tried and it didn’t, as I mentioned the motor test works great on arducopter and there’s no beeps like there is on ardusub

Post a screen shot of the Servo Output Screen in Mission Planner after connecting. Let’s see what you have configured for outputs. And describe this Sub and how it’s controlled (Frame Config)

Not near my PC rn but the frame type is BlueROV2 and I only need motor 1-4 so I connected the four motors to MAINOUT 1-4 and so the servo outputs 1-4 are set to motors 1-4 (maybe the reason I can’t motor test is I didn’t commect 6 motors? - if that’s the reason I might need to tell it there’s no use for motors 5-6)
