Ardurover arming question

Hi all,

I’m currently building a arduboat with the rover firmware.

At this time I always have to use mission planner to arm the rover.
Is there another way? maybe auto arm on startup so I am able to control it manually?
When I startup my rover I often have the message BAD AHRS, what exactly is this?
If I startup my rover outside my garage and wait half a minute the BAD AHRS dissapears…

You should be able to hold the steering stick to the right on your transmitter for a few seconds and the rover will arm. See doco here:

Is it possible to disable the safety switch?
