I was curious if anyone has tried to do a tail sitter/ducted fan single rotor vtol UAV. I have seen the progress on the dual motor tail sitter and just built a foam board plane to start experimenting with the dual rotor set up. In hover mode the UAV would fly using the single copter parameters and in forward flight the plane would fly similar to elevon tail-less plane. Could someone help me with the control surface mixing or give me some pointer of how to go about configuring this type of VTOL.
