Ardupilot 2.6 - APM Plane from 3.4.0 to 3.5.3?

According to MissionPlanner my APM 2.6 seems to run on firmware 3.4.0 and when entering the Install Firmware option indicate that 3.5.3 is available. Upload and verification process run just fine without any errors but after reboot the status information still refer to 3.4.0. Does this mean that 3.4.0 is the last version available for this board?

Please read the release notes. In 3.4.0 it states that it is the last version of Arduplane to be supported for the APM Boards.
