yep that was a bug in rc5 ive fixed it by now , so rc6 will solve that
Thanks Ruben.
I’m trying to use Ardudeck more and more as a daily-driver instead of MP/Windows so I may be spamming you some more with whatever I find.
FYI the TX16S presents the SDCard, just like any old USB memory stick, as whatever you called it like “TX16S” in my case. I replaced the original SDCard as it was running low on space. I’m guessing Ardudeck was looking for something of a specific name.
Feel free , im enjoying this feedback so dont be shy , also you can use discord for that too.
ive found a couple issues , so we will see how rc6 will workout for you.
@xfacta please try rc6 Release Beta 1.2 RC6 · rubenCodeforges/ardudeck · GitHub
Logs are back with mapping and terrain - testing more…
Flashing a Cube Orange worked perfectly without having to disconnect the USB cable.
Loading the widget in the TX16S also worked OK - even the correct model was identified.
I like the “Remove” button too.
The widget on the radio has exactly the same issues as seen in the layout editor: the large text overlays the smaller text (in the top bar and in each item). There could be a reduction in font size, maybe even a slider in the layout editor
or slightly better scaling to suit different screen sizes.
The battery bar graph line covers the text.
The smaller text could be a bit more prominent too, but that’s probably not very important.
I couldnt get the map data to generate, unsure why but there is an error when I press “Generate”
Failed to execute 'toDataURL' on 'HTMLCanvasElement': Tainted canvases may not be exported.
That should keep you off the streets for a while ![]()
Cool, I’ll test when I see a new RC version.
Also I just noticed the Taranis configuration screen gives two links to the “How to..” document, and there’s no way to reset the layout - I messed it up and cant get back to the default layout.
I’ll test it out on a real Taranis later.
EDIT:
Tested the 1.2 RC7
Widgets good on the TX16S.
One minor issue: the Armed/Disarmed status is not visible for flight modes with longer names, like Stabilise. It’s there with Loiter.
I’ll do some Taranis testing later. I feel this is still valid as there’s nothing really wrong with a Taranis and there’s about 89723518217.3 of them out there somewhere.
Hi Ruben,
Beta 1.2 RC7
Applying a parameter file, gives a good dialog and that’s OK - BUT after applying all (or a subset of parameters) it appears ALL parameters not changed are listed, and there’s no way to agree, acknowledge or cancel this list away. If there is a button to press, it’s off the screen somewhere and I could not find any keys that had any effect.
Had to close Ardudeck to return to normal operation.
Ardudeck Mobile for Android is now live on google market https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ardudeck.gcs
ill make a fix for that
How come I could not find it in both Windows and Android? [Edit] okay, I saw it in ArduDeck-0.1.2-rc9-win-x64-portable.exe.
It’s in the Status section.
Looking forward to have it on Android too.
look in rc9 beta 1.2
