Arducopter APM 2.6 - Reflash Bootloader

Good day all,
My Arducopter APM 2.6 can’t talk to Mission Planner or Arduino. Some posts recommend reflashing the bootloader. Have found info on 2.5 but not 2.6 Can anyone please advise. Do I need some special hardware or is it all done via special software and shorting jumpers etc.

I have the same problem. After trying to upgrade the firmware to a version that is not supported by the APM 2.6, I’m not able to connect to the APM anymore. My plan is to reflash the bootloader, but I’m not able to find the file.
Would appreciate if someone could tell me where to find it.
