Overview of the design of the airframe with an engine for autonomous flight for the purpose of flights in thermal flows Soaring Ardupilot F3B Matek H743 wing - YouTube . The design was based on the drawing of the F3B airframe, developed by the master of sports of the USSR A. Mitriev. Its airframe was modified to install the Matek H743 WING engine and flight controller under the control of the Ardupilot platform program. The firmware version 4.2.0 was chosen because of its successful use on previous aircraft and glider. The program provides a Soaring flight mode, launched by the Thermal team, which provides an automatic flight along the route or Cruise search for thermal flows. When flying in Thermal, the glider gains the set altitude in motor flight, turns off the engine when it reaches this altitude and plans as soon as it descends to the set minimum altitude the cycle repeats.

Construction: carbon fuselage, wings, stabilizer and kit kit covered with balsa veneer 1.6 mm and thermal film Oracower Germany (specific gravity of the film 1 g per 1 dm2). The wings are connected by a carbon fiber rod to the hole.
