[APPROVED] Short term Claude subscription

Topic: I have been using our ChatGPT regularly for wiki stuff, but have discovered Claude integration into github repo direct work via PeterB…for the next release I would like to get a couple of months subscription @ $20/mo to simplify all the work on merging the 100+ 4.7 wiki PRs due to the large number of merge conflicts that are going to occur since PRs span over a year…

Proposal type: Software

Planned amount $$ (USD): 60

+1 from me. More words…

I am surprised you have to ask?!
I am using Claude myself; the productivity gain was 30x faster.

As a maintainer GitHub should provide free access to Copilot, which includes the Claude models. Have you looked into that?

Henry isn’t really after access to any particular model here - he doesn’t even know what that really means!

What Henry’s after here is access to the agentic nature of claude-code. Command-line integration and the ability to run tools and use other analysis techniques to work directly on a codebase is the effect he is after.

Currently Henry is closing the loop with chatgpt - downloading generated scripts and running them locally, then re-prompting chatgpt to fix problems. claude-code will be a significant improvement to his workflows.
