Looking forward to seeing how this goes!

I have received the hardware and have started having a go at adding it to the u-Blox driver. Config is a little unique compared to the existing modules, so it’s a slight challenge. I do have it at least reporting a fix within the AP firmware!

Is it working ? can we use Ublox X20P ?

You can still use the “old” ucenter (25.06) which i prefer over the newer ucenter 2.

Had some talks with ublox reps on a surveying fare in Germany. They told me the X20P is currently in a partial-operational status in terms of Firmware. A big Firmware release is scheduled for Q1/2026 and should have full functionality.
Galileo E6 is not working for example and the RTK engine is more or less the same as on the F9P (only 2 frequencies per Sat).

I have currently only one X20P from gnss.store. If you need someone to discuss and test feel free to message me.

All correct. My comments regarding configuration have nothing to do with u-Center (more related to the deprecation of many u-Blox CFG messages).

I am working with CubePilot to provide ArduPilot support. There is not yet a released driver, but we have significant progress.

It’s reasonable to expect support in 4.7, which will have a significant beta/RC period for public testing.

Can you tell me which messages Ardupilot needs? I want to put the X20P on a Plane and use it as a second GPS just with TX->RX attached on the FC (one way communication).

Thank you so much for this information. My X20P from ArduSimple arrived today and I couldn’t start u-center2 because of the crazy requirement to set up an account via mobile phone with with Salesforce authenticator. It also works with u-center.

If u-center2 becomes essential at a later date, u-Blox should simplify access to registration.
