APM board not connecting with usb

mabey someone can help me
have APM2.5.1 and the APM is not connecting with the pc usb
board is getting warm on the resistors between A7 and A8 connections on the Mega2560 side of the board
Problem:
can´t put it in DFU mode
cant connect to pc no connection in control panel in windows when i connect my other board it connects with the same usb cable and on the same USB port
when i plug the board in on usb cable it
double red flash then alt red and blue flashes then single red with bright flash
Alive red LED on but no TX RX lights come on
can anyone help me to find the problem why i can´t setup this board it is a 3DR original board

my other china import has no problem from the day i got it
the 3DR one is or has its own mind :wink:

2.5.1 does not sound like genuine 3DR…

If you can’t put the board in DFU mode (copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/common … tmega32u2/)

And you are having warm components then you should send an email to help@3drobotics.com with your order number to see if it applies for a replacement.

thats what the board has screen printed on the back bottom left corner just above the mount hole
and there are other 3DR and ArduPilot print on it as well
thanks but where must I ask for help with this problem or must I send it to the dust bin and get another hopefully the new one will be flashed with a bootloader on the ATMega32
