I have the old APM 1.0 with the ATMEGA1280.
I would like to know if it can run the new 2.76 software because I read that to use it I would have to do some modifications to the code…
If any has any experience whit this to share, I will really appreciate it!!

Due to the smaller amount of program memory on the 1280 vs the later 2560, you might indeed have to edit out some of the functions in the 2.76 code to get it to fit on the APM1.0 1280. As to what functions you can eliminate, I do not have that information available to me.
