Antenna tracker as a camera tracker?

I’d need a camera following my plane from the ground as it flies. Does antenna tracker track the plane close enough to do this ?

I fixed a Gopro to my antennatracker once. It worked reasonably well with the Gopro set to medium field of view. Do not expect Michael Ballhaus camera work from it, the tracker might not track smoothly all the time. I was not able to get recent versions of ardupilot antennatracker to work at all, though.

Any idea why recent versions of antennatracker don’t work ?

I did not say they do not work. I just could not make them work.
The tracker was working fine at home tracking a SITL vehicle. Out on the field it did not move at all.

It has worked well for me. Though, it is better when the antenna tracker is further away from the drone.
