Depending on your hardware, there is a check for the HDOP, as well as the solution type (with SBAS Aiding, or DGPS) I’ve seen two different usb pucks of the same brand give different results, the RID module would be happy with one and not the other. Try a newer GPS source for your ground station.
For RID comms, you need a build of the flight controller that supports ODID, then you need to find the ODID_* params and set ODID_ENABLE=1, then comms should show up
